Ricky Martin Returns to Europe with his Record-Breaking “One World Tour.”
(Miami, Florida. – June 21, 2016) – Rated as one of the most successful international tours of the year by the concert tour publication Pollstar, the production kicks off its final leg in Europe with a concert on September 8, 2016 in the José María Martín Carpena Sports Complex in the City of Malaga, Spain. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 24.
The tour will continue throughout Spain and will include shows in Las Palmas, Tenerife, Madrid and Merida. In addition, the multi Grammy winner will continue his world tour in the Middle East, the United States and Latin America.
“One World Tour” began in April, 2015 in New Zealand and was immediately hailed as one of the year’s best productions, both in ticket sales and production quality.
In Argentina it was billed as the largest tour by an International artist in years, with over 17 consecutive concerts and over 200,000 tickets sold.
An Impressive light show designed with over 150 movable lights and five high-definition video screens; cutting-edge stage design that syncs the visual display with the music; eight costume changes and exciting choreography complement the artist’s performance, which captivates the audience from the moment he takes the stage.
Martin’s show includes four phases: dance, rock, ballads and tribal, with a repertoire that leads the audience through different emotional and rhythmic states as it takes them through his musical oeuvre.
Hits like “Come With Me,” “She Bangs,” “La Mordidita,” “Tal vez,” Livin’ la vida loca,” “Pégate,” “Adiós,” “La bomba,” “Cup Of Life” and “Asignatura pendiente,” among many other favorites, are all part of the repertoire that his fans dance and sing along to.
Mr Martin takes advantage of each public appearance to fight against human trafficking, a humanitarian mission he engages in via the foundation that bears his name and which prioritizes the well-being of at-risk children with programs that encourage education, health and social justice.
